Διεθνής καμπάνια για να επαναλειτουργήσει το nerit.gr που απολύτως αδικαιολόγητα «έκλεισε» η ελληνική κυβέρνηση‏

Στις 11 Ιουνίου η ελληνική κυβέρνηση έκλεισε τη δημόσια συχνότητα
(ΕΡΤ) χωρίς να ρωτήσει καν τη Βουλή των Ελλήνων.

Μάλιστα, η κυβέρνηση είπε ότι επρόκειτο περί σχεδίου αναδιάρθρωσης της

ΕΡΤ που προέβλεπε το κλείσιμο της ΕΡΤ και την ίδρυση νέου Οργανισμού
Ραδιοτηλεόρασης που θα λειτουργήσει σε λίγους μήνες. Επίσης, μας είπαν
ότι όλα αυτά τα οργανώνουν εδώ και πολλές εβδομάδες.

Στις 12 Ιουνίου, η ελληνική κυβέρνηση δημοσιοποίησε το σχέδιό της για
τη νέα ραδιοτηλεόραση, που θα λέγεται ΝΕΡΙΤ. Προφανώς, για να πείσουν
τον ελληνικό λαό ότι όντως υπήρχε οργανωμένο σχέδιο αναδιάρθρωσης που
ακολουθεί η κυβέρνηση.

Λίγες ώρες μετά, την ίδια μέρα (12 Ιουνίου), ο συνεργάτης της
εφημερίδας μας, blogger troktiko.eu κατοχύρωσε την ηλεκτρονική
διεύθυνση nerit.gr μέσω εταιρείας που συνεργάζεται.

Η κατοχύρωση του domain name από έναν ιδιώτη ασφαλώς συνθλίβει τα
επιχειρήματα της κυβέρνησης περί οργανωμένου σχεδίου και αποδεικνύει
περίτρανα ότι καμία προετοιμασία δεν είχαν κάνει παρά μόνο εκτέλεσαν
άμεσα την εντολή που τους έδωσε η τρόικα που ζητούσε απολύσεις
δημοσίων υπαλλήλων.

Το nerit.gr άρχισε να λειτουργεί από την ίδια μέρα και σε μια κίνηση
υψηλού συμβολισμού μετέδιδε το κομμένο πρόγραμμα της ΕΡΤ. Το nerit.gr
αμέσως κέντρισε το ενδιαφέρον του κόσμου που κατά εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες
επισκεπτόταν το site. Το θέμα δημοσιοποιήθηκε στα μεγαλύτερα διεθνή
ΜΜΕ κάνοντας διεθνώς ρεζίλι την ελληνική κυβέρνηση.

Δύο μέρες μετά, στις 14 Ιουνίου το nerit.gr έκλεισε. Όπως προέκυψε από
το ρεπορτάζ, την σχετική απόφαση έλαβε ο Πρόεδρος της Εθνικής
Επιτροπής Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ταχυδρομείων (ΕΕΤΤ) Λεωνίδας Κανέλλος
κατόπιν αιτήματος Έλληνα υπουργού. Να σημειώσουμε ότι το site έκλεισε
χωρίς να ερωτηθεί ή να απολογηθεί ή έστω να ενημερωθεί κατόπιν ο
κάτοχος του ονόματος. Τελείως αυθαίρετα.

Το blog troktiko μεταβίβασε το nerit.gr στην εφημερίδα Το ΧΩΝΙ με
σκοπό να παρασταθούμε αρμοδίως στα δικαστήρια και να κάνουμε όλες τις
απαραίτητες ενέργειες προκειμένου να επαναλειτουργήσει άμεσα το nerit.gr

Εκτός αυτού αποστείλαμε εξώδικο με το οποίο ζητήσαμε (ως νόμιμοι
ιδιοκτήτες πλέον του domain name) να μας δοθούν όλα τα σχετικά έγγραφα
του φακέλου.

Δεν μας απάντησαν.

Επικοινωνήσαμε και πάλι μαζί τους. Μας απέφευγαν. Πήγαμε στο γραφείο
τους. Αρνήθηκαν και πάλι να μας δώσουν οτιδήποτε.

Η ελληνική κυβέρνηση έχει πλέον εκτροχιαστεί. Προκειμένου να διασωθεί,
προβαίνει σε αλλεπάλληλες παράνομες πράξεις.

Το ΧΩΝΙ καταγγέλλει ότι στην Ελλάδα του Σαμαρά, δεν μας δίνουν ούτε
καν τις αποφάσεις που βγάζουν εις βάρος μας.

Το ΧΩΝΙ δεσμεύεται ότι θα κάνει τα πάντα (σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό)
προκειμένου να στιγματιστεί διεθνώς αυτή η ανήθικη πρακτική της ΕΕΤΤ
και του Προέδρου της καθώς και της κυβέρνησης που διατάσσει το
κλείσιμο όποιου site δεν της αρέσει.
Διαδώστε την είδηση παντού. Το διαδίκτυο, όσο και να θέλουν, δεν
μπορούν να το ελέγξουν. Και δεν θα τους αφήσουμε να το φιμώσουν.

Ο φασισμός δεν θα περάσει στο διαδίκτυο.

SOS! After shutting down public TV (ERT), Mr. Samaras censors the web!

International campaign to reopen nerit.gr after the Greek governmentʼs
unjustified shut down

On June 11th, the Greek government shut down ERT, the Greek public
television, without even asking the Greek Parliament. The government
claimed that shutting down ERT was part of a wider plan to restructure
the Greek public television, by establishing a new broadcaster that
will replace it in a few months. In the meantime, the country will be
left without public television

Greek people were told that their government has been setting up ERTʼs
successor for several weeks. The Greek government even unveiled its
blueprint for the new broadcaster, on June 12th, obviously trying to
convince Greek people that there indeed was an organized restructuring
plan. The government blueprint stated that the new broadcaster is to
be called NERIT (where the I stands for Internet).

A few hours later the same day (June 12th), the blogger troktiko.eu (a
columnist of To CHONI Sunday newspaper) patented the domain name
nerit.gr, as nobody had cared to patent it till that moment. The
patenting of the nerit.gr domain name by a private citizen (at a point
of time when no legal entity named NERIT existed) crushes the
government arguments for an organized plan to replace ERT and proves
that no preparation had taken place. They merely rushed to execute
troikaʼs command to dismiss thousands of Greek civil servants.
Nerit.gr started operating on the same day (June 12th). In a symbolic
act, nerit.gr broadcasted the ERT TV program that the former employees
of the public television continue broadcasting despite the
governmentʼs unjustified shut down decision. Nerit.gr became a big
story in major media all over the world, internationally embarrassing
the Greek government. Hundreds of thousands visited the site.

Two days later (June 14th), the President of the Greek National
Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), Leonidas Kanellos,
ordered for nerit.gr to be shut down. As journalistic sources report,
the shut down decision followed a Greek ministerʼs request. Please
note that EETT shut down the website without asking the holder of the
domain name. Without hearing the nerit.grʼs holder arguments. Without
even letting him know. With no justification whatsoever!

On June 19th, troktiko.eu transferred nerit.gr to To CHONI in order
for the newspaper to competently presented the case in court and take
all the necessary steps to immediately reopen nerit.gr.

As a first step, To CHONI newspaper (as the legal owner of the domain
name) sent a written request to obtain all relevant documents by the
EETT.

The request remains unanswered.

The newspaper contacted the EETT again. They avoided it. The newspaper
owners even visited the EETT offices. EETT refused, again, to give out
the shut down documents to the owners of the shut down domain!

In order to survive, the Greek government has repeatedly violated To
CHONI and troktiko.euʼs legal rights. In 2013 Greece of Prime Minister
Antonis Samaras they do not even disclose the decisions against a
newspaper to the newspaper itself!

To CHONI newspaper is committed to doing everything (in Greece and
abroad) to stigmatize this unethical practice of EETT, its President
and the government ordering the shut down of whatever site criticizes
their policies.
